Iconic St. Louis Restaurant Only in Missouri to Achieve This Distinction
The legendary Tony’s restaurant in Clayton, Mo. has again been named a AAA Four Diamond restaurant in recognition of its distinctive fine dining and upscaled ambiance. Tony’s first received this coveted designation in 2000 and has maintained it every year since. Tony’s is the only restaurant in Missouri to have held the AAA Four Diamond designation for more than two decades.

The AAA Diamond Rating Process is North America’s premier restaurant rating program. To be approved as a Diamond establishment, restaurants must submit to un-announced, on-site evaluations by professionally-trained inspectors. AAA’s rigorous standards include 57 elements in the score that determines a property’s Diamond level.
Recently celebrating its 75th year, Tony’s is a St. Louis icon, having become synonymous with fine dining and celebrating. Tony’s moved to its new location in Centene Plaza in Clayton in spring of 2021. The modern and elegant restaurant centers on an 8,500-square-foot main dining space. The mezzanine bar upstairs, Anthony’s, overlooks the outdoor dining room.
Tony’s is open for dinner from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Anthony’s Bar is open for lunch 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
