Legendary Fine-Dining Establishment Adds to Its Rental Offerings in Clayton
From impressive business meals to intimate family gatherings, memorable dining has long been a hallmark of Tony’s. Tony’s is proud to add The Fountain, its acclaimed patio dining room, to its offerings for event rental. A small private dining room is also available inside Tony’s.
“For 75 years we have been a destination for special moments,” said James Bommarito, owner of Tony’s. “We have had so many requests for The Fountain for private events. We are pleased to make this elevated patio available to those wanting to host an unforgettable evening.”
The outdoor dining room was designed by Bentel and Bentel, along with James Bommarito. The space features 10 tables, with seating for approximately 35 guests. Its striking louvered cover, manufactured by Kettal with steel and aluminum materials, features elegant ceiling fans that create an outdoor breeze. Robotic screens are built into the ceiling and are available for all sides of the space, as well as two 60-inch outdoor television screens and a custom audio system. In addition to luscious landscaping, a stunning waterfall graces the area.
The Bommarito family has a storied restaurant history in St. Louis, dating back to the mid-1940s, always taking exquisite care of people. Through the decades, dining out and celebrating have become synonymous with Tony’s. Patrons who choose Tony’s for a private event can enjoy a menu headlined by favorites and enhanced by seasonal offerings – all on glimmering sterling silver place settings with signature tableside service.
Tony’s is internationally-known, having been honored with numerous awards, including the AAA 4 Diamond Award, the Mobil 5 Star Award and the Levee Stone Award.
Tony’s moved to its new location in Centene Plaza in Clayton in spring of 2021. The modern and elegant restaurant centers on an 8,500-square-foot main dining space, with the outdoor dining room accommodating an additional 35 guests.
