Drink and appetizer specials at Tony’s sophisticated bar in Clayton
Anthony’s, the sophisticated bar on the second floor of Tony’s restaurant, introduces “Toast & Taste” on weeknights. Anthony’s Bar now offers an exclusive appetizer menu and drink specials from 4 pm to 6 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. These Happy Hour specials are only available in Anthony’s Bar, not Tony’s dining room or the Fountain patio.
“Since we moved to Clayton, Anthony’s has become a welcome weeknight retreat,” said James Bommarito, owner of Tony’s. “We want to thank our patrons with special early evening offers.”
The Anthony’s “Toast & Taste” menu – available from 4 pm to 6 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays – includes:
- Maryland Crabcakes - $8 each
- Bluepoint Oysters - $2
- Classic Shrimp Cocktail - $8
- Asian Style Spareribs - $10
- House Made Onion Rings - $6
The appetizer menu is complimented by a rotating selection of cocktail and wine specials.
Anthony’s Bar, with a separate entrance on Hanley Road, offers a more relaxed feel than the legendary fine dining institution. Reservations are not required for Anthony’s Bar.
Ian Froeb, St. Louis Post-Dispatch restaurant critic, recently noted in his STL 100 list, “Tony’s is really two restaurants in one, the fine-dining institution and the more casual Anthony’s Bar, located above Tony’s. The same kitchen that turns out Tony’s legendary lobster albanello and beef tenderloin with foie gras will prepare your salad, sandwich or burger.”

Anthony’s Bar is open for lunch from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Anthony’s is open for dinner 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday. Tony’s is open for dinner from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
