ST. LOUIS, MO, December 18, 2024 – The Morehouse College Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (MIEC) marked its 20th anniversary this December with a Legacy Luncheon, celebrating two decades of fostering innovation and entrepreneurial excellence. As part of the momentous occasion, MIEC honored individuals who embody the center's mission to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders, including St. Louis’s own Robert Steward – founder and CEO of End2End Solution – who was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Steward was given the award for his remarkable contributions to entrepreneurial excellence and innovation. Through his leadership, End2End Solution has set a benchmark for innovative practices and transformative solutions for both small and large businesses.
“Thank you to MIEC for this recognition and honor,” said Steward. “Reflecting on my time in this transformative program, I’m reminded of its influence on my passion for small business advocacy. Small businesses are vital to our economy, creating jobs, driving innovation, and building resilient communities.”
The Legacy Luncheon served as a tribute to visionaries like Steward, whose work exemplifies the spirit of entrepreneurship and reflects the enduring values of Morehouse College.
“When we invest in and uplift small businesses, we create a ripple effect of growth and opportunity. A huge thank you to everyone who made this milestone event so meaningful. Here's to 20 more years of legacy and impact,” continued Steward.
The Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (MIEC), a global leader in fostering innovation and entrepreneurial leadership, celebrated its 20th anniversary with the release of the “Building Black Business 2024” report.
The result of an 18-month research initiative involving Black Business Serving Organizations (BSOs) in Atlanta, the report underscores MIEC’s transformative contributions, including creating over 800 new jobs and facilitating 600 contracts for entrepreneurs of color. Through their unique formula, more than 400 small businesses have been impacted, generating $255 million in revenue growth and $35 million in capital access.
