Jazz St. Louis Celebrates 30th Anniversary with World-Class 25/26 Season
St. Louis, MO (October 14, 2025) – Jazz St. Louis is celebrating its 30th anniversary season with an incredible lineup of some of today’s most celebrated jazz artists all season long at the Harold & Dorothy Steward Center for Jazz in Grand Center.
The October lineup includes performances by vocal powerhouses Mary Stallings and Luciana Souza, the fiery ensemble Kind of Blue Sextet, St. Louis’ beloved Adam Maness Trio, legendary performers Buster Williams, Dawn Clement & Matt Wilson as part of the Artist Residency and so much more.
October Subscription Series Performances:
- Mary Stallings (Oct 1–5) – Jazz legend Mary Stallings graces the stage with her timeless voice and heartfelt interpretations. Show times available: Wed & Thur – 7:30 pm; Fri & Sat – 7:30 pm & 9:30 pm; Sun – 6:30 pm
- Kind of Blue Sextet (Oct. 15–19) – A tribute to Miles Davis’s iconic album, featuring alumni from Juilliard. Show times available: Wed – 7:30 pm; Thur – 11:00 am & 7:30 pm; Fri & Sat – 7:30 pm & 9:30 pm; Sun – 6:30 pm
- Luciana Souza, featuring Romero Lubambo and Chico Pinheiro (Oct. 29–31) – Brazilian jazz vocalist Luciana Souza, accompanied by Romero Lubambo and Chico Pinheiro, presents a fusion of jazz and Brazilian rhythms. Show times available: Wed – 7:30 pm; Thur – 7:30 pm; Fri & Sat – 7:30 pm & 9:30 pm; Sun – 6:30 pm
October Special Performances:
- Artist Residency featuring: Buster Williams, Dawn Clement, & Matt Wilson (Oct. 24–25) – Jazz St. Louis’ Artist Residency Program brings professional jazz artists to St. Louis for a week of masterclasses, student clinics, and community concerts. Show times available: Fri & Sat – 7:30 pm
October STLMade Series Performances:
- Bennett Wood Quartet (Oct. 8–9) – Bennett Wood is a composer, educator, and leader of his own group. Joining Bennett on the stage are Reggie Thomas on Hammond B-3 Organ, Rick Haydon on guitar, and Marty Morrison on drums.
- The Arcadia Dance Orchestra (Oct. 10–11) – With an 11-piece St. Louis band led by England-born trumpeter T.J. Müller, The Arcadia Dance Orchestra brings the energy and authenticity of 1920s St. Louis jazz to life, performing era-accurate arrangements with a lively, historically informed approach.
- Adam Maness Trio (Oct. 22–23) – Led by pianist Adam Maness, this trio blends sophisticated improvisation with reimagined pop classics. Show times available: Sat & Sun – 7:30 pm
Running September 2025 through June 2026, the Jazz St. Louis 30th Anniversary Season highlights the rich legacy of jazz in the region, featuring GRAMMY-winning artists, rising stars, and innovative performances, while continuing Jazz St. Louis’ mission to present, educate, and inspire audiences and musicians alike.
